TOO MANY SIDES OF HER;

Friday, July 27, 2007

Hello! I am here to tell you about my two adorable nephews. They have just came from Hong Kong to Singapore last Wednesday. They are all boys, but sorry, can't reveal their names (confidential).
Well, one of them is four years old and one of them is eight years old. On weekends, they will come and stay with us. However, on weekdays, they will stay at their grandparents' house as they do not want to disturb us when we are studying or doing our homework. They often get into quarrels or fights but get stopped by their family. My younger nephew has a pretty bad temper and cries when he does not get what he wants. They always like to play pranks on each other and like to put 'bunny ears' on other people. Though they are very mischievous, they are good at times. For example, when you ask them to do some things nicely, they will do it obediently. We often play with each other and have lots of fun.
They hardly come to Singapore and only come here about once in a year or so. So, I will treasure this opportunity to have fun and play with them. As I have said, although they are mischievous, I am really glad to have such nice nephews. OK! Bye!

Today, I went to VJC (Victoria Junior College) to play and enjoy the Maths and Science games.
There were many games and they were interesting. There were also many attractive prizes to win and I won about 7 or 8 of them. Actually, the prizes were tidbits, chocolates and so on. The first game we played was quite interesting and I won the prize over there. They will first give you a piece of paper and we have to say the colours of the words in five seconds. However, the words are colours itself. So, we have to differentiate the words from the colours and it was a little tricky. But I was good at it and said all the words in five seconds exactly and I got five balls to throw. Next, I went behind a line and tried to throw the balls inside a small area on the floor. I managed to throw one inside the area and got two chocolates. The next games were also very fun. There was one room, which in the stations were all filled with challenging stuff. We also went to an area where there were only two stations on each side. The students and teachers over there explained to us about some Science stuff and we learned that after adding water to the salt, it becomes the jelly-like stuff in diapers! The next station was to use a straw to blow into the soapy liquid and our bubble was so big and complicated. I will just talk briefly about the other side. There was on station, which we have to rub the balloon provided on the plastic and produce static electricity. I rubbed and rubbed, faster and faster and suddenly 'POP!', the balloon burst! After many other things, we took the bus and went back to school.
This was certainly an interesting trip and I would some other time go there again.

Hello,my fellow friends. I am here to talk about my trip to the Arts and Craft Exhibition. We went to the Mika(not sure about the spelling) building for the SYF Arts and Crafts Exhibition yesterday...
We were chatting noisily in the bus when the bus suddenly halted. We all started to chat noisier, getting excited, at the thought of going to the exhibition. Our teacher, Miss Lee, gave out some worksheets and we immediately kept it into our clipboard. Next, our teacher, along with Mrs Tan, one of my fellow classmates mother, lead us down the bus. We entered the exhibition hall and were seated on the floor, spending the waiting time to read the contents of the worksheet. We had to wait for the people to let us in, but what a long wait it had been! We waited for almost an hour and our legs and back ached when we got up. Still, we felt overjoyed and excited when we were about to go in. We entered the exhibition and were awed at the sight of the different types of paintings, drawings and so on. We chose our favourite piece and wrote it down in our worksheet. The questions were not very hard and only one question was challenging to me, which is to find the picture of the birds and count the number of birds there are. After completing the worksheet, there was still some time, so we walked around and admired the pictures. At the same time, we took some pictures too.
The pictures were really beautiful and if I have a chance, I would definitely go there again.

Hi, I'm here today to talk about Chelsea's summer activities and to refute all comments given by non-Chelsea fans as well as to stop all rumours regarding Chelsea. Firstly, I must inform everyone that Chelsea's first team and reserves have started their pre-season training and tour in U.S.A last week. And the good news is, Chelsea have beaten Club America 2-1 in the Disney Friendship Cup. This signifies a good starting to their pre-season friendly matches. In their 2-1 win over the mexicans, new boy Florent Malouda scored and helped John Terry head in the winner with his free kick. Jose Mourinho, manager of Chelsea, have nothing but good words for the new French International, who joined for 13.5million pounds. Steve Sidwell, a midfielder who left Reading for Chelsea this July on a free transfer, also played his debut in a blue shirt for the first time. He performed well, made good tackles and constantly provided good scoring opportunities for his teammates with his long passes. Defender Tal Ben Haim, who also joined Chelsea from Bolton Wanderers for a free transfer, also played his first match for Chelsea. He showed good understanding with John Terry and always troubled the opposition strikers. Another new striker Claudio Pizarro, who joined from Bayern Munich, also for a free transfer, was not present at the match and the pre-season tour due to the fact that Chelsea has given him time off in view of the matches he played for his country in the Copa America 2007.
Next, i would like to add that manager Jose Mourinho is NOT leaving Chelsea and has cleared the air between owner Roman Abramovich and him. He has committed himself to Chelsea Football Club for the next few years as he has just bought a house in England for his family.

Geremi, who used to be a right-back and midfielder for Chelsea, has joined newcastle united on a free transfer. Labelled as an utility player, he has left on the reason that he preferred to play regular football instead of just being used as a substitute in most games for Chelsea. Despite Chelsea wishing him all the best in the near future, i would like to state that I am branding Geremi as a traitor and betrayer because he chose to leave Chelsea for another club who has met neither Chelsea's achievements and successes. He can choose to leave if he wants, but there is nothing to worry for Chelsea as they have new defenders Tal Ben Haim, Alex who is returning from PSV Eindhoven and Glen Johnson who has finished his year loan deal at Portsmouth. Geremi's exit also provided chances for Jack Cork and Sam Hutchinson to play for Chelsea. So, Geremi, on behalf of Chelsea, i would like to say thank you very much and good riddance.
Also, I would like to make this very clear. Andriy Shevchenko is NOT leaving Chelsea for AC Milan. I repeat, he is NOT leaving Chelsea. Although there might be many doubts on whether he is still going to be at Chelsea next season due to untrue inside sources, I urge all Chelsea fans to ignore comments made by fans from other clubs as these people have nothing better to do but create rumours and strife. Andriy Shevchenko is currently training with the team in USA and had taken part in their 2-1 win over Club America. Hence, i feel obliged to inform Chelsea fans that Shevchenko is fine with his stay at Chelsea and to warn others who have nothing but criticisms for him to get a life, and kindly get lost. Please do not create rumours of him wanting to leave Chelsea as this is SO NOT TRUE and UNORIGINAL. If you prefer, you could always make up stories of **************** wanting to leave ****************. Please, just lay off Shevchenko and all the other players of Chelsea.
I would talk about Khalid Boulahrouz, another defender who is leaving Chelsea, another day due to shortage of time. Goodbye and I hope you really enjoy this post. Love Chelsea forever!! =]

Hi, I am here to share about Harry Potter. I am going to watch the fifth show of Harry Potter on Thursday. It is called 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'.
There are a total of seven books, but so far only five of the books are being shown. All these interesting books are written by a world-wide known author, JK Rowling(not sure whether the spelling is right though). I bet after listening to the titles of her stories, you shall be very tempted to watch them. They are 'Harry Potter and The Philosopher's stone', 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban', 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', 'Harry Potter and the Half-blood prince' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. All readers and watchers will be very sad and think that it is a pity for the show to end so fast. But now we have one very interesting question to solve. JK Rowling has said that two people are going to die in the last book. That is, who are the two who are going to die?
Now, I have finished writing, and the readers reading this passage can probably spent time thinking about the question! Bye!=)

Hi again! Let me tell you about my little secret, I am a football fan. Many people think that girls who watch football are strange, but there is nothing wrong since there are also boys who keep long hair.
My favourite football club is Chelsea. Chelsea is one of the top clubs in the world (Though they are the BEST in my heart). There are four trophies to win every year. This season, Chelsea have won the FA cup and the League cup. They did not win the other two cups, though, the Champions league and the English Premier league. However, this does not mean that they are not good enough. Although many people said that Chelsea has not been as good as before, I believe that it is not true at all. I think that many people tend to put more pressure on Chelsea because it is a good club and also because of the fact that they spent alot of money last season to buy top players like Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack. But, if we compared the records, it will show that Chelsea is actually much better than other rival clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal. In the past three years, out of twelve trophies to be won, Chelsea have got six of them. On the other hand, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have won two each. So it means that Chelsea have won the same number of trophies won by the other three top clubs. To me, this is a great achievement. Hence, i do not understand why people like to criticise Chelsea so much.
I will tell you more about Chelsea next time. So long! =)

Hi! Let me tell you about my Bicep trip at the Science Centre. Last Thursday, our class went to the Science Centre to see the exhibit about China history.
We piled in the Science Centre and were awed by the different kinds of machines and games. We were then led to the exhibit and were given some worksheets to do. Over there, we learnt quite a lot. We learnt about the many dynasties and we also learnt about the 'four biggest creations' in China. They are paper, gun powder, compass and a kind of drawing made on the paper. They demonstrated how to make paper and it was very interesting indeed. There were many types of gun powders and compasses and they were full of creativity. Lastly, they showed the drawing made on paper and it was very beautiful. The one thing that amazed me was the basin. There was a kind of basin containing water. All you have to do is put your hands on the water so that it will be wet and slowly rub your hands on the handles of the basin and the next moment... water comes splashing out!
That is all that I can tell you about the Science Centre. If there is a next time, I would be glad to go there again to see the different kinds of things. Bye!
